2010 survey.
1. What did you do in 2010 that you’d never done before?
I spent the year unemployed. I also coached my first all star team. Drove to forks with the Asshole
2. Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I apparently resolved to get Travis to Propose to jen. I barely remember this — but it worked. Engaged in 2010, Married in 2011
3. Did anyone close to...
Old blogs from my myspace.
The 1 tenth theory
Last week was rough. I might have made some choices because i’m shy or awkward. But the truth is.. i apologized and tried to fix it. So with that… I need to get this out. Most of the time I don’t try to fight rumors but for goodness sake.. please never call me unprofessional. My whole issue is i don’t want to do things when I’m supposed to be...
500 posts.
This is not my 500th post. This is my 501st post. I can’t believe how crazy that seems. I started this blog because I needed an outlet. I lived with someone I worked with. Someone who was one of my close friend from college. At the time, we also had another friend from college living on our couch.
We shared everything. Friends, living quarters, and jobs. Its funny, not four months after...

Debt.
After I lost my job, I knew I had to get serious about the revolving debt that I personally have. Those pesky credit cards, that I carry a stupid balence on for no reason other then I’m lazy and thought I had more of disposible income. You know pre-unemployment, pre-“oh fuck what am i going to now?” So, I needed to figure out how to pay off all my debt quickly and the smartest...
This according to Edgar Martinez's Wikipedia page.
marinerssuck:
Edgar Martínez (born January 2, 1963 in New York City[1]), nicknamed “Gar” and “Papi”, is a former Major League Baseball third baseman and designated hitter. He spent his entire 18-year Major League career with the Seattle Mariners.
I am pretty sure I don’t remember anyone ever calling Edgar by the nickname “papi,” but i could be wrong.

I'd like to introduce you to Carl.
(This is not a photo of Carl, its a random google image, but he kinda looks like this)
I’ve been out of work since February. I took a terrible (temp) fund raising (telemarketing) job in November, in hopes it would be a bright end to the despair I had been in for months. After two days I had to say NO! I’m better than calling people at work lying and convincing them that someone...

Today made history.
As I woke this morning to the news that the President has signed into law the repeal of the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” I immediately was astonished. First, that it happened, which is great for all mankind. As gays have been serving as the president said to paraphrase “since the civil war, and the beaches of Normandy”.
I vaguely remember the banning of the...

This year..
This has honestly been one of the worst years I’ve ever lived. I don’t remember a time where I didn’t feel good enough to find work, and since my adult life I’ve always been working I’ve lost everything. I’m not married, I don’t have kids, and i’ve said this before (my job is how I figure out my self worth) I can’t wait for 2010 to be over. I...
this made me giggle.

"No Regrets" - Apolo Ohno.. thoughts on the book
I’m a quick reader. I’ve always been a quick reader. I like to read a book within a couple days. I can spend hours reading just to finish a book. So, when I started reading “No Regrets” It only took me a few days.
After watching the last three Winter Olympics, with our Hometown hero, Apolo Anton Ohno, it was great to read his thoughts on his time in the Olympics, his...

Apolo Anton Ohno - "No Regrets"
When the Asshole texted me about going to meet Apolo Ohno I laughed it off. Then I thought to myself. Wait, this is the same athlete we’ve been talking about for years. We’ve watched two olympic games together. (Via Text Message) and she loves him. I have to go, I have to get a book signed. Let me try to see if I can work it out. I told her about some thing I had to do that night,...
Granddad birthday!!
When we were little Granddad gave us checks for birthdays and holidays there were never any cards. Only a notecard that he would write us notes like, “for your birthday + 2 for the card” he hated the idea of buying an expensive greeting card. I don’t have all the cards from my other family members but I did save most of those silly Notecards from my Granddad.

Shopping, wrapping, holiday gift giving
I love Christmas. I love giving gifts! I get super excited every year, decorating, shopping, wrapping, thinking of creative names of who will give people gifts.
Some choices this year, Ernie as in Bert and Ernie. Lindsay’s gift card says “Lucky duck” I put a bunch of rubber ducks in a box with the gift card.
One of Richie’s gifts is from Bob Villa, he is getting a saw, so...
